Okay, so my motivations for watching this movie may be obvious to some. Or maybe, everyone. But really, whatever my motivations were to hunting this movie down, and watching it was so worth it. It's very Nolan-esque, in making you think as the movie goes. This is one of those movies that you can't play at your workstation while you get things done because you'll never get the movie. Or worse, you'll never get anything done. But it is beautiful, and quite confusing. It makes you look at things, at life and the choices we make, differently. Definitely one of my favourite movies of all time.
I love the roles that Jared Leto picks. There's always something about them, something memorable. Especially this one. I've seen Requiem of a Dream, btw, and it was both disturbing and tragic. This, on the other hand, was brilliant. And extremely underrated. I looked this one up on Rotten Tomatoes, and there were barely 10 reviews on this one! The world needs more movies like this. No, not time travel, and men over a hundred years old. Movies that make you think. Movies that make you look at things from a different angle. Movies that make you take life in interesting ways.
